About
Chasing the world creating stories & connection along the way.
Almost a decade ago in Iceland, I realised my biggest regret wasn't missing a sight it was not having a camera to capture the feeling of discovery. Shortly after coming home, I picked up a DSLR and started learning by doing. Photography became my way of making sense of the world through finding symmetry and patterns in everyday chaos. Leading me to new experiences and adventures lens first across the globe. Travel is my escape. It's a chance to leave the weight of my working life in Dublin behind and immerse myself in new environments, seek authenticity and straying off the beaten track at every opportunity.
My approach to travel photography embraces a candid ethos where capturing the moment holds as much weight as capturing the subject. I prefer taking subtle non invasive shots from the background and of the environment, Saving portraiture for people I experience a genuine moment of human connection with, preserving the intimacy and weight of close up photography.
When at home, my focus is on purposeful assignments: Landscape shoots, local street culture, or collaborating with fellow creatives, especially musicians & entertainers whose passion mirrors my own. Having shot a number of LGBTQ+ events and being part of the community myself, I’m particularly drawn to documenting local community life and helping create an authentic, inclusive, and safe space for LGBTQ+ artists, events, and initiatives to flourish.
